# Hướng dẫn hạ cấp Kobo về phiên bản cũ hơn

Các bản cập nhật thường sẽ cải thiện hiệu suất, đem đến nhiều tính năng mới. Tuy vậy, nó cũng không ít lần gây lỗi vặt, thường là với các thiết bị cũ. Thật may mắn là Kobo rất dễ dàng hạ cấp *(downgrade)* mà không bị mất dữ liệu.

### Tải Firmware

Truy cập trang [Kobo Firmware Downloads](https://pgaskin.github.io/KoboStuff/kobofirmware.html) của [@pgaskin](https://github.com/pgaskin), tìm đúng dòng thiết bị của bạn, nhấn nút **Other versions** để xem danh sách phiên bản cũ và tải về máy tính.

### Cài đặt

1. Trên Kobo, tắt Wifi hoặc automatic sync trong **Settings > Syncing and updates**.
2. Kết nối Kobo với máy tính.

3. Giải nén firmware vừa tải và chép tất cả vào thư mục **.kobo** trên Kobo.
4. Thực hiện **eject ổ USB** để ngắt kết nối Kobo an toàn, tránh lỗi dữ liệu. Chờ một lúc để máy khởi động lại.
